Synopsis
This eclipse in Leo is the resurgence of the Phoenix Bird. The year the phoenix appeared on Mount Etna was 2019—the year of the last total lunar eclipse in the sign of Leo, the house of the Sun. Leo is the house of the Sun → Tipheret (the heart, the true identity, the light of the soul). When the Moon (Yesod) completely covers the Sun, there is a temporary "death" of apparent identity. Everything that was ego, vanity, need for recognition, or mask darkens and burns. That moment of total darkness is precisely the Phoenix's nest of ashes. From a Kabbalistic view: Yesod's shadow (emotions and unconsciousness) consumes the old way of shining. It reaches the state of ayin (creative nothingness). Out of that nothingness a new light resurfaces: the inner Sun (Tipheret) is reborn purer, more authentic and more radiant.
